Email spoofing is the changing of an email header so that the email or message appears to have originated from someone or someplace than the actual source. There are so many ways to send a fake email. The Internet is so vulnerable that you can use it to send email to anyperson with anybody's email ID.

There are many methods to send fake emails, but one of the easiest way is to use web scripts.

Fake Emails via Web script:

1. Web programming languages such as PHP and ASP contains mail sending functions which can be used to send Email by giving Fake headers. We'll see it later.

How to access Blocked Websites?

This post  is all about accessing blocked websites. Many websites are blocked in schools, colleges as well as in many countries.

1: To access blocked website, type the IP number instead of the URL in the browser address bar. However, if your blocking software maps the IP address to the web server (reverse DNS lookup), the website will still remain blocked. To know the IP adress of a website ping it

2: Use a URL redirection service like tinyurl.com or snipurl.com. These domain forwarding services sometimes work as the address in the the url box remain the redirect url and do not change to the banned site. This will also used for shortening the url.

3: Enter the URL in Google or Yahoo search and then visit the cached copy of the page. To retrieve the page more quickly from Google’s cache, click “Cached Text Only” while the browser is loading the page from cache.

4: There are anonymizer websites who will fetch the blocked web page from their servers and display them to you. As far as the service provider is concerned, you are viewing the page on the Anonymizer website and not the blocked site.
Example: www.hidemyass.com, www. myblack.com, etc,.

5: You can access blocked or restricted websites by using Yahoo Babelfish or Google Translate language tools as a proxy server. But you just have to invoke the Google translate service with the language pair like English to Hindi or English to some other languages. Just go to Google translate and enter the website's address.

6: Browse the internet via proxy server software. Example: Your freedom, ultrasurf, unblockedproxy.net etc,.

How to Ping a Domain using Command Prompt

      Pinging is a command which tells you if the connection between your computer and a particular domain is working correctly.

Steps:

1. In windows go to "Start menu" and type "cmd" and click on it, the command prompt opens.

2. Type the word "ping" followed by a space and continued by the "domain name".

Example:

     See the image below for pinging and how the results are diplayed. In this example the domain name used was facebook.

Results:

         If the results show a series of replies, the connection is working. The time(ms) shows you how fast the connection is. If you see a "timed out" error instead of a reply, there is a breakdown somewhere between your computer and the domain. Pinging also gives us the IP address of the domain. In this Example: The IP adress of Facebook was 69.171.234.21

Tip:

    Shortcut for opening command prompt:

    Press "Windows logo+R"  which opens the "run" then type "cmd" and press enter.

How to connect two computers with a wire?

Here are the steps to connect two computers in Windows XP. This will let you share files and folders, printers, play network games etc.

Materials You Will Need:

1. A Crossover cable – This is a Cat5( Category 5) Ethernet Cable that the wires have been switched around to allow two computers to talk to each other.

2. A port on your PC to insert this cable.

Steps:

1. Connect the two computers with the crossover cable.

2. Set the IP address on both computers. Goto Start > Control Panel > Network Connections ( Choose switch to classic view if you cannot see network connections ).

3. Look for your Local Area Connection ethernet adapter, right click and choose properties.

4. Select Internet Protocol TCP/IP and choose properties.

5. Set the IP as 192.168.1.1 and the subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 on the first computer and 192.168.1.2 on the second computer with same subnet mask.

6. click OK and OK/Close again.

Tips:

To share your files, right click on any folder or drive and choose sharing to make them shared.

This can also be done with printers to be able to print from one computer while the printer is connected to the other.

For Windows 7 : The steps are similar, you can find your Local Area Connection in Network and sharing centre.

How to Download your entire Facebook data?

As we all know Facebook is is a social networking service and website. It allows users to download their Facebook data in a single file.

Steps to download the data:

1. Log in to your Facebook Account.

2. Go to "Account settings" present in the drop down menu next to "Home".

3. At the end of the page you'll find "Download a copy of your Facebook data" click on it.

4. Then click on "Start my Archive".

You maybe asked to type your password for security reasons and facebook will further authenticate you by asking you few more security steps.

Facebook will generate the archive containing your data, and send you a download link to the respective email address.
